7 Powerful Ways To Free Yourself From Anxiety
When I think of anxiety and how it’s approached as well as observed in today’s society, I feel that something that has created such an enormous amount of stress in people’s lives is something that has been greatly misunderstood.
I’ve seen anxiety treated with medicine or by restricting access to certain stimuli. Neither of these are effective long term. Ultimately what this shows is that we’ve been trained as a society to only treat the symptoms and place a bandaid on something that needs an overhaul operation.
I’m done with treating symptoms and am ready to share what has healed my own anxiety over the past. Let’s do this!
1.Let Go of Control.
When we think of anxiety, it’s important to dive to the root of the issue. That root is the need to control that which you aren’t supposed to be in control of.
Life asks you to trust that if it knows how to make your body and it’s trillion of cells work, then it knows how to make everything on the outside work. It only needs your willingness to let go and act when asked to act. In this lies the opposite of anxiety, peace.
