A GIVING ACTOR OR ACTRESS, IS THE ONE WHO SUCCEEDS

One of the greatest quotes I’ve ever come across that has helped me in my life and in my acting career is:

“If you’re lacking in anything, it means that you’re not giving enough of it.”

With this quote alone, I’ve been able to rise up from financial ruin, excess weight and career stagnation. When my acting career came to a complete standstill, just a few years ago, I knew that I had to not only change, but transform what I was doing.

I noticed something truly profound. This industry is built on, well basically, doing everything possible to help yourself. What would happen if we changed that entire dynamic? What would happen if every actor or actress decided that they would turn their attention towards helping each other?

I can honestly say that more performers would have more fulfilling careers at a faster rate. Zig Ziglar used to say, “To help make your dreams come true, all you have to do is help enough people make their dreams come true.
