“A Life Lesson Comes In The Most Unexpected Place.”
My prayer every morning is a heartfelt thank you and a proclamation that keeps me open to whatever my heart decides to bring me.
What’s funny is that the heart is absolutely illogical.
It doesn’t see good or bad, right or wrong, Success or failure. It only senses growth and joy. So today we wanted to get a shot of the cottage in Lake Huron, Ontario covered in snow. We were looking for an opportune time to take the drone, we just purchased, up in the air, but conditions were rough and weren’t cooperating.
Finally, we saw a window of opportunity and hurried into action. Looking back on it, it was a huge gamble, but I made the decision to proceed. The temperature was frigid (-0.5 ‘C) and although there was no snowfall, the wind was strong. I decided to take it up anyway.
Literally the moment I got it to about 15ft off the ground, it started drifting, fast! The more I tried to maneuver it back, the more it drifted into the lake you see in the picture.
We were absolutely fearful that we were going to lose it. Right after I convinced myself to stay calm, I ran after it. I didn’t think of how…
