“The proof is in the pudding…” I love that quote because it basically says, look at the actions of someone, and you will discover who they truly are. For the longest time, Antonio Brown was one of my favorite NFL players.

If it wasn’t his creative touchdown dances or miraculous catches, it was his phenomenal catches on the football field. The man embodied the receiver I once dreamed myself to be. But, I also experienced and envisioned myself being the ultimate teammate. I can’t necessarily say the same for AB.

Or maybe in his mind, he is the ultimate teammate. Honestly, that’s what a powerful ego can do to you. It makes you feel like anything you can do will never be wrong.

The ego is like an avalanche that gets bigger and bigger as it gains momentum moving downhill. At some point, anyone who stands in its way will be trampled, whether it be physically or emotionally.

Enter Juju Smith-Schuster. I follow Juju on Instagram and he seems to be the most charismatic, fun loving young man you’d ever meet. What’s even more impressive is that he’s a guy who never takes himself seriously.
