HOW HURRICANE KATRINA TAUGHT ME THE VALUABLE LESSON OF: LIFE ALWAYS WORKS OUT FOR THE BEST.
It’s been a little over fourteen years since I lived through the experience of Hurricane Katrina. I can remember, at the age of 24, truly wondering what does all of this mean?
Each year, the anniversary passes, I find myself diving into the entire experience again to see what wisdom I can take from it.
Over the years there were so many lessons that I learned from that experience alone. But the theme that appears to be the most significant is:
“There is a beauty about life that always works out in our highest favor. Throughout struggle, throughout turmoil and hardship, life forever has the idea firmly held, that this is going to work out for the very best.”
For everyone involved, the best will reveal itself, if that is the perspective we choose.”
