Before I get into this article and discussing the teachings of Jesus in a uniquely different manner, I’d first like to say this is in no way intended to convince, convert or manipulate anyone into believing anything other than what their heart feels led to.

One of the greatest reasons why I love Jesus so much is because of his insistence on two things: acceptance and free will. Jesus knew that in order for every human being to see the truth, they had to be allowed to choose and feel whatever resonated most to them.

This type of ability requires an unconditional level of divine love, and that’s exactly what Jesus had.

I grew up in the Bible Belt in Southeast Louisiana, and the concept of Jesus Christ seemed more like a right hand man to an old man in the sky named “God.” As time passed, and I evolved to a higher level of spiritual awareness, there was something interesting that would happen whenever I heard the name Jesus. As a matter of fact, it’s better if I explained exactly what I felt.
