The Number One Virtue to Becoming A Confident, Successful Actor or Actress.

If you’re reading this, it’s likely that the title pulled you in. When we talk about virtue, we’re truly talking about power. And for the sake of actors and actresses, that means unlimited personal power.

The greatest support any performer can have is the unconditional support of themselves. That may seem far fetched, but sometimes as an actor, you’re driven to a place where no one else can go but you, and

You have to have 100% conviction that you, my friends, are all that you need.

This is not to say that you can’t have anyone in your corner, but it is to say that no matter how many people believe in you, YOU must believe in yourself! Acting is sometimes like taking a dingy out into the middle of the ocean by yourself and navigating your way back to shore.

I love this analogy because it emphasizes what the number one component will be if we are to navigate these challenging waters successfully:

F-A-I-T-H

Yes, faith, not in the religious sense but in the sense that no matter what you will find a way to succeed in the greatest way possible. Faith not only trusts in the desired objective, faith also trusts in you and your own capacity
